My mother informed me that my blog is lame.
"It shouldn't be named Keeping up with the Joneses. It should be called NOT Keeping up with the Joneses."
This statement was followed up a chuckle, and dare I say a slight snort on my mother's part. And a look of pure bafflement about how my mother processes humor on my part.
Alright, so I struggle.
New Years resolutions not going so well. Blogging. Picture-taking. All down the toilet. I told AJ the other day that this is not my fault. Indeed, it is his fault. I don't blog because I don't have a computer. I don't take pictures because my camera is so 5 years ago. I informed him of this as he munched on an apple while reading a manual about the new Volkswagon Golf (I think our next car, folks). The next day, he picked me up from work and we, with the help of our Best Buy Homeboy Ricky, bought a new Dell.
And here I am. With my own computer that will never be taken away from me for law school finals.
What new years resolution have I kept? Sudoku. I am going to toot my own horn for a little bit and tell the blogging world that I have indeed mastered that game.
And I will try and take more pictures with my ghetto camera.

I love your mom. And I love you. And I love sudoku. So pretty much, this blog rocks. And I'm happy when you update it.
Also, since I'm here, I saw your post on facebook about wondering which island to visit. Kevin and I went to Puerto Rico and LOVED it, so let me know if you want to go there and I'll give you more details. Here's some pictures from our trip: http://picasaweb.google.com/khoopes/Honemoonin?authkey=CDmH7E9d5N8#
Also, my sister-in-law lived in St. Thomas for 5 years and could give you a run down on what to do if you want to go to the Virgin Islands. Either the Virgin Islands or PR would be good if you don't want to buy passports.
Good...glad to hear more pics and posts are coming. I have a ghetto (4 year old) camera as well and hence have a hard time putting up pictures, so I can totally sympathize. Congrats on keeping up with Sudoku...every victory counts :)
Good one Debby. Good one.
Yes. Please post more. Either that or move back to Utah. I miss you friend and I can't come to Oregon (my baby, Miss Crankerpants-can't-sleep-anywhere-but-her-crib-even-for-a-wink-even-at-grandams-house...she won't allow it.). Anyway, keep blogging so I can feel like I sort of, somehow, know what you are up to.
